OUR  ACCOMODATION

Manzano “cortijos” (term that refers to a concrete sort of  typical spanish country house similar to a holiday cottage) are composed by two country houses; one of them is located on Nijar surroundings in an old orchard planted with olive and fruit trees, and watered by an irrigation channel that goes through. It is an oasis in the desert Almeria ideal for quietness. The other country house in Huebro is a singular place for resting: 900 meters above sea level, and 10 minutes by car along a mountain road from the village named Nijar, located on top of Alhamilla mountains, very close to the small village of Huebro. With unique views that look out over Nijar countryside, Gata mountains and the sea. Both “cortijadas” have an external landscaped area and swimming pool to be shared. And each of them has a chimney (firewood is an extra charge). Besides, due to its nearness, we will be able to visit not only “Cabo de Gata-Nijar Nature Reserve”, but also the gypsum Karts of Sorbas, Tabernas desert or the part of the mountains called “Sierra Nevada”  that belong to Almeria.
